This site has been shutdown and rebuilt a few times over the years. Many of the earliest posts have yet to be retrieved and republished. If you are trying to navigate the early years in the archives be sure to click the "tags" on posts to deliver all the materials that were published on the topic because some of them may have been reAdded to the site years later.

Sorry for the mess. Our lives are under construction, the best we can expect is a few Detour Signs along the way. ;~)

The Rand Paul Stomp ~ music video

Both the right and the left are puttin' on their dancin' shoes.

With all the hoopla about this Rand Paul stomping I decided to do this.  Watching people defend this shit is pissing me the fuck off.

I was going to try putting something together that showed this alongside Black Blockers breaking windows and torching symbols of state and economic repression to comment on the difference between Violence and Property Damage.  But I didn't have time for something that fancy.

350 International Get To Work Day ~ Austin TX

a Global Work Party, with emphasis on both 'work' and 'party'. In Auckland, New Zealand, they're having a giant bike fix-up day, to get every bicycle in the city back on the road. In the Maldives, they're putting up solar panels on the President's office.  In Kampala, Uganda, they're going to plant thousands of trees, and in Bolivia they're installing solar stoves for a massive carbon neutral picnic.

In Austin Greenpeace wrangled petition signature collectors to pressure the government to stop building more fossil fuel infrastructure.
